Midweek game logic

Can someone explain why we have no midweek games this week...so no game sun-thurs yet we have 2 on the road next week?

Exams this week and going up to Notre Dame for a 2 game series before going to Knoxville next weekend when the players are done with school. Actually pretty smart planning to get a rare midweek road series up north.

Dead week, no games during midweek during exams.

Exams are typically the first full week in May. Just varies year to year based on the academic calendar and such.

Exams are typically in Week 9 of our SEC schedule. This year they are in Week 8, so LSU had an extra week to work. With school over, PM arranged a nice road trip. Notre Dame is returning for a three-game series in 2018 I believe.
