And Brandon LaFell caught a TD pass for Carolina in the same game.
Two Tigers scored in the same NFL Game! Woot woot!

Good for Ford. Hes gonna have a tough time making the roster though. He needs to prove to the Bears that he can do more than just play RB. He needs to be great on ST. Sounds like he did a damn good job catching the ball out the backfield for them, which helps his case.
If youre fighting for a roster spot, you gotta show versatility. If there is 3 or 4 spots left and youre fighting for it, you cant be a 1 trick pony. They would rather have a decent RB that is willing to go down on ST and bust some heads and can catch the ball and block than a guy that is just a power back. Which is why i think Ware is going to have a nice long NFL career. He can do a lot of things than just play RB.
Sounds like Ford is having a nice preseason though. Best of luck to the kid and hope he makes it. Physically, hes 1 of the biggest freaks in the NFL. Hes as strong as an ox and can flat out burn people with speed. Hope he figures out how to translate it to the NFL.
