Mett's 3 INTs....

All 3 came on pass plays out of a jumbo I-Form set with only 1 receiver on the field, that being OBJ. Of course the defense is going to key in on him. (Double covered all 3 times)
So what I want to know is, if Mett is going to throw on early downs, why not spread the field more like on the late drives from the gun? 3-4 receivers on the field for Mett to look at and a few seconds of pass blocking and he can pick people apart. They can't double cover OBJ and Landry at the same time, while also having a man on Boone/Dickson/and the running back.
Also, I would love to see Jeremy Hill running with the defense spread out instead of having 9 in the box. Spread the field and the defense has to cover all the receivers and then try to tackle hill one on one on draws and dives. Maybe even run a little pistol formation like Bama has done occasionally.
Long story short, Mett made poor decisions to throw the ball to OBJ double covered all those times, but every time he was the only real option. He can't rely on throwing to a fullback or backup tight end. He is not being put into a position to succeed as a QB. In the games where we went spread with multiple receivers (See Georgia, last 2-3 drives of Ole Miss) Mett gets the passing game going and puts up points.

I guess Jarvis Landry is a TE now?

Some truth to what you are saying, but understand his foot work in the pocket is painfully slow, he makes Peyton Manning look like Mike Vick. If he can not set his feet he becomes a below average QB, many of the passes he threw should have been thrown away. He is just to slow in the pocket to get rid of the ball.

Landry or Boone was on one of those int's..and it seems like they rather go with Magee or Blue on the 3 wide sets..are they better blockers??

its worked all year long. he didnt read anything, horrible qb'ing. of course, the play calling was baffling as well.
