There seems to be a major power struggle going on at the top of our athletic department, between Aleeva and Mile's football staff. It happened with Chavis and now Steele and Cameron. It is also affecting recruiting. Either give Miles the stability and support needed or get rid of him. I personally would like to see Joe get the boot.

Kids are wondering if Miles has security, and Steele is gone who was recruiting them.

Would you want to go to a school that had the turmoil LSU does/did?

How does that affect our under class men now as well? I'd be on my way to the next level instead of staying an extra year if I could too.

Uncertainty kills programs.

that's a pretty strong accusation. what's your proof? w/o proof your mouth "seems" to be overloading your azz

there's no question you hate alleva. if you are starting shite, it is YOU that are affecting recruiting.

We'll be Top 3 this year

This has been an issue since 2000.

I'm not arguing King & Alleva aren't baggage but it isn't affecting recruiting to lose Chavis or Steele.

Struggles at the top? More like Steele leaving to get to a more stable situation.

Are you serious? I hope not. Miles isn't going anywhere next year barring a losing season. Malzahn will likely get the boot for 8 or fewer wins. That isn't more job security. It's actually less.

Let me get this straight, LSU Grandad. You need proof that there's turmoil at LSU coming from Alleva's desire to get rid of Miles and hire his own football coach? I guess we are not allowed to read and watch events unfold and use our own brains to actually come up with our own views on what happened? Amazing you want proof of Alleva's pitiful little attempt to put his fingerprint on the program, by firing Miles and hiring another home run head coach like Ted Roof. But just to help you out, Google "Alleva" and in the first page of results will be just a few of the great national stories from less than 30 days ago hammering Alleva for trying to run a very successful coach out of town without a solid replacement or a plan B. Alleva has embarrassed LSU and hurt the brand with his latest move like nobody has since the Hallman days.

Pretty widely reported that Myles wanted to extend Cam midway through last season and was told no. At the end of November that may have looked like a good decision. The fact that it was reported that he was told no when LSU was averaging 39 points a game and Cameron was showing up on potential head coaching lists is certainly curious.

And that is exactly why all of the mess that went down with Miles and the Administration a month ago alone won't stop LSU from getting a great DC, if they are willing to create security through years and cash. Money talks.
