The mental lapses by player more of a concern then the play calling or coaches.

Fumbles fumble and more fumbles by Ridley and Murphy are the greatest concern for our offense. If they are our 1 and 2 running backs then they have to secure the ball. Ridley alomst lsot this game with his last fumble.

Penalties like the holding call on T-Bob that took 6 points off the board. another example of a player loosing his focus and hurting the team.

The game plan on offense was actually called very well by Crowton. He called plays that put the team in scoring position in the second half but a fumble and a holding penalty took the scoring oppertunities away.

Fumbles shouldn't happen, but they will happen on occasion.

To fumble in the last two minutes of the game, with a lead should never happen.

RB should have two hands on the ball.

...and to fumble in the situation that Ridley fumbled (has first down...game is over if he secures the ball) is even worse. To call that a mental lapse is being kind.

Ridley looked very good on Saturday. He showed a very impressive burst and had good running instincts. But those fumbles undid the positives.
