Men's Basketball - TOP 25???

Will they get in? If not how many more games do we need to dominate to get in there?

Lol no. The top 25 is hard to crack in basketball. Much tougher than football. LSU doesn't even have any votes. They should have a few when the polls come out today.
LSU will be in the top 25 if they win their next 5 before the Kentucky game. They'd be 19-6 (10-3).
This is a crucial stretch and key for LSU to reach the 12-6 mark. Going 4-1 would keep them on track.

They would have to win their next 5 and get to 19-6 to possibly be ranked, but then still probably not.

They only have four more games before the poll before the Kentucky game. That's not enough time. They'll have plenty of votes at 18-6 (9-3), though. Win on that Saturday at Rupp at get to 20-6 (11-3) and LSU would jump into the top 25 like a homeless man given a piece of fried pickle sandwich.
Eta: Odds of a 20-6 scenario happening.. Slim to none. But this is the time of the year it's always fun to dream.

I'll never forgive this team for losing to Rhode Island and Alabama.

Even Ole Miss. All three of those games kill me in ways they shouldn't. I weep at how close they are to 17-3 (7-1). They're on the path to recovery. But they made it much tougher than it needed to be.

LSU would beat Alabama by 20 in the PMAC. Ole Miss would be a good game. LSU was lucky Ole Miss played terribly (until overtime). LSU had that game and lost it with a couple of terrible possessions inside of 1 minute.

We should be able to handle them. I think as long as we only. Lose at ark,uk and uf we should be ok

Bama plays tough at home against other SEC teams. Period. Look at their game against UF. Rhode Island was a WTF loss though. I didn't see the game, so no clue how it happened.

This! and at 17-3, they'd be ranked right now.
As it stands, not even close to being ranked. Need to win the next 5 for sure.

That would be awesome. Only game I don't see us being the outright favorite is the game @ Bud Walton Arena. Arky doesn't usually lose in that building.

I hate to use too much speculation, but if the only thing that changes is that Anthony Hickey hits that 15 foot jumper at end of regulation against Ole Miss, LSU is currently in 2nd place in SEC...
