Love this guy's character. We got a great DL coach. I'm excited about this.

Lounging with his wife and kids while sorting through his opportunities, Orgeron texted Miles a dollar figure that he says was "way up there." He didn't hear back from Miles that night and finalized his decision to go to Tennessee. Early the next morning, he got on a plane headed to Knoxville, where he'd be introduced as part of the Vols' staff.

"As soon as I landed, all these texts from Coach Miles started popping in wanting to know if I could be in Baton Rouge by 1 p.m.," Orgeron says. "But it was too late. I couldn't turn back then."

If someone is really fricking important ... why not use the fricking phone to actually call and speak with someone?

He was on vacation. Miles didn't want to interfere with his family time. You can hate on miles for doing that, but it shows what is important to him.

If I'm on vacation and entertaining multiple job offers ... I sure as hell wouldn't mind if I get a call instead of a delayed text so that I make the best possible decision with all timely considerations.

And ... my wife would not mind ... if it could possibly mean more money perhaps or being in a preferred locale.

Wouldn't you?

Funny. Didn't he call LSU his "dream job" on Cullotta and the Prince the other morning?

Man, things happen for a reason. Let it go and focus on the now.

quote:

Mississippi State's Josh Robinson refuses to go down in a spectacular tackle-breaking run, and Orgeron wants to jump through the television screen.

"Look at him fight," Orgeron roars. "That's a Louisiana guy. Look at all those Louisiana guys killing it right now for Mississippi State, right up the middle, too, where you've got to be strong. The quarterback [Dak Prescott] is from Louisiana, so is the center [Dillon Day] and Robinson at running back."

Orgeron is fiercely proud of his Louisiana heritage.

I like texting just as much as the next person ... but, some things simply warrant a more direct approach.

There is a reason why face-to-face meetings still exist ... even when often not required.

lil bitches that use texts and shite to call in sick for work and such ... F that ... you either call and speak to someone or your arse is gone.
