Let me preface this by saying this isn't an Etling bash. With our horrible offensive line and Danny's sometimes overly gutsy play, it's not s stretch to see him end up hurt, and soon. It might be time for O and Canada to play the old Archer QB rotation, ala Hodson and Guidry. From what I've seen so far, this may be the worst o line we've had in 2 decades. I said it after BYU that we couldn't run at will that night, and they are horrible with few athletes. We need to have another option ready at qb.

honestly with this shitty oline an atheletic QB like Scott would likely have been the most successful in this situation

Huh? 296 rush yards and over 5 YPA. I don't believe it gets much more "run at will" than that.

Brennan would get killed behind this line.

I prefer not to play him until the OL is fixed.

THis. trotting him out there now and expecting him to be a savior could end up with Jarrett Lee 2.0. We aren't winning it all this season, so it's pointless to do that IMO.

I think he should see playing time during the next two home games. But all of the negativity over losing to MSU will not stop unless we beat UF on the road.

I wouldn't say the season is over. But I do agree with you that the OLINE needs help.
