Simply making a point that it wouldn't matter who the qb for the raiders is, they are not going to look good with the current o-line. It wouldn't suprise me if Brees didn't even know who Flynn was.

Green Bay has always had a bad offensive line, it is one of reasons Rodgers was sacked 51 times last year. That combined with a below average running game

I feel sorry for the guy. Just sad he goes to one of the worst teams in the NFL. Being a solid backup in the NFL ain't a bad gig though. Nice money, don't get beat up...worse ways to make a living.

He makes better than nice money, one of highest paid back ups.... He made a choice of Seattle and got beat out, he could have tried his hand at any number of places for less money

This pretty much sums it up. Flynn was very effective for LSU in 07. And had a great game against the Lions. In a game that mattered nothing as far as the standings or anything. Against a horrible defense. I hope he does well, But he won't in Oakland. Not many qb's would be good wearing the Silver and Black.

LSU's qbs have sucked for a long long time , we have never had a Brady/Brees/Manning type qb so arguing over what we got in the leftovers dept in recruiting is just stoopid...i wish Mett the best

Flynn got paid, if he's not a complete moron, he'll retire a millionaire, and never have to work another day in his life. Or, go do TAF development work for a side gig. Shake hands, collect checks, rinse, repeat. I'd say Flynn is just fine

Oh yeah, to the later douche nozzle who compared Flynn to Mauck.. both were national champions. Mauck has one of the top 5 (at least) seasons for a LSU Qb in yards and TD's.

the rant loves him simply because he is right. you have it backwards. The dude was nothing more than a serviceable college QB. He's an awful NFL QB. Probably one of the worst 4 starters in the league.

No comparison at LSU. JR was better than MF. I think we can stop this argument. We all should agree on this. Now in the NFL, that's a different story. Flynn has a chance to say he was better than JR but not looking good for him now
