The former LSU star entered camp with the inside track over Terrelle Pryor and rookie Tyler Wilson to replace Carson Palmer in Oakland and has done nothing in the first week of camp to change that equation.

quote:

Flynn has been the most impressive of the three quarterbacks so far in training camp with the most accurate arm, a good grasp of the offense and strong leadership on the field.

quote:

He threw for 251 yards and three touchdowns in a loss at New England in place of an injured Aaron Rodgers late in the 2010 season. He then started the regular-season finale the following season, going 31 for 44 for 480 yards and six touchdown passes in a 45-41 win over Detroit.

He's still the biggest unknown coming into this NFL season. Hope he does well though.

Really wish he could have gotten a chance in Seattle with a great D and running game.

Going to be much harder to win in that dumpster fire that is Oakland.

Tiger Nation will be rooting for you Matt!!!

I was in Disney World at ESPN Club watching the Saints and that game was on one of the TV's. Eventually I just watched that one. It was phenomenal. People in there couldn't believe it.

Where are all the prognosticators saying Wilson and Pryor were gonna beat him out?

Seeing as Terrelle Pryor just learned how to throw a football I wouldn't consider that a great accomplishment. Wish him the best though.

I just hope that wasn't a "Clint Longly" moment.

Good luck to Matt.

I hope this guy hits the ground running and shows up. Would be great to see him do what Jamarcus didn't.
