They were playing for a playoff spot

Seriously, lying about that is petty.

I've heard his elbow is bothering him. Not hurt. I wish Flynn would win the job , but it's crazy the excuse made for him.

I'm not mad at Flynn he helped win LSU a title. I hate the ignorant part of our fan base that thinks he was this great qb at LSU when in fact he was avg. I don't like our fans shitting on JR for the simple fact of hoisting up Flynn. I've never shite on Flynn just stated facts about him. LSU fans actually believe Flynn would've won a title in 06 when that 06 season is the greatest season on any LSU qb ever. Tied the single season TD , set the record for completion%, had the best TD-int ratio.

Ha ha you're stupid. They had already clinched a playoff birth.

The Lions head to the playoffs for the first time since 1999 as a wild card, but could have clinched the No. 5 seed with a win. Instead, they'll be the No. 6 seed and face New Orleans in the first round.

Idk about 06... Too long ago.
JR > MF @ LSU.
MF above avg qb at LSU though.

Was JJ in 09 above avg?

Because JJ in 09 had a higher passer rating, better yards/attempt, better compl%, better TD/int ration

you could argue that 'playoff spot' might also refer to 'playoff seeding'

In 09? Meh, avg to slightly above avg.
I know where you are going with tht but most people realize that a qb/offense is judged on more than strictly a qbs #s.

Unfortunately for JJ that yr was the highlight of dudes career.

Unfortunately 2009 was also the worst offense in LSU history...or really probably just recent LSU history. And 2010 was only slightly better.

That's why Flynn is gonna be remembered as one of our great QB's: he lead the most prolific offense in LSU history (2011 and 2006 sans-Auburn/Florida would give it a run for its money though statistically.)

Worst case scenario is that they are the worst team this year and they can draft a qb 1st overall.
Which wouldn't improve the Raiders at all.

Well at least he is still in the league!! He could be like the majority of the other 'WOW' QBs that got drafted over the years and were garbage!! LOL, how many Heisman winning QBs had great NFL careers?

You can't be a pocket passer w/the Raiders when the O-line sucks!

Flynn will get some PT after Pryor gets hurt.

Might work out great for Flynn. The OL gets a little better right about the time TP will get hurt.

To say the Lions weren't playing for anything in that game is a flat out lie.
They were playing for a better playoff seed.

Stafford threw for over 500 yards in that game. He obviously didn't care about the outcome.
