Matt Canada called a good game - Give him some props

Execution on a couple of plays was off and if we had a half decent offensive line, we'd be doing even better but I think Canada called a good game. That touchdown to the tight-end I literally stood up and said "great play call!!" Had the UF defense completely fooled on that one.
The only downside is that sometimes the receivers run so much PRIOR to the snap that they are worn out and don't have the burst to make the play once they have the ball.
Either way - I know it wasn't pretty but the Tigers just won IN THE SWAMP - which is NOT an easy thing to do.

I hate yaw but I will give Matt credit. That was a nicely called game. I was waiting on a fake jet sweep though

When your QB is Etling and the O-line is playing/rotating 3 true frosh you have to get creative in the run game.

The play calling was much better. I was confused as to who was getting the ball a number of times and I haven't been recently. They mixed it up very well. We went very conservative in the 2nd half, but Etling was really off and the WRs weren't giving him much to work with either.

Our already shitty offensive line at one point was 3 starters down.
Saying he called a good game TOTALLY understates how good of a job he did today.

legit gripe. i said same thing to friends here. he did good using whole field running. we just need to be able to have more than just a PA pass game and we cannot be so inaccurate when guys are wide arse open. etling cannot go through progressions. or so it seems.

Was wondering the same thing, the shifts stopped and the play calling became very conservative

We probably averaged 15 yards a carry on jet sweeps. They only stopped them like 3 times.
