I could go along with this as long as they took away Miles' headsets and made it a capital offense(no pun intended) for him to interfere with the offense. That would settle all arguments and reduce the post volume at least 50%.

Yeah, exactly. There is most definitely a goodwill job opening that UGA has prepared for this situation. While there are people who weren't happy with Richt's results on the field, the man is still unanimously respected as a human being and representative of UGA.

I think Richt will basically be deciding if he still wants to be directly involved with coaching. If so, he will in all likelihood leave Athens. Any reasonable person would understand how awkward it would be if stayed.

But most people don't understand Richt on a personal level. He's not your typical college football coach. While I'm sure there will be teams that will pursue him as a HC, I wouldn't be surprised if he personally feels that he no longer wants the pressure and scrutiny that accompanies such a position. Especially if it is at a high-visibility program like Miami where the pressure will be on to turn around that dumpster fire and win quickly.

I definitely could see him wanting a lower stress position while still doing what he loves. His passion is working with the players and developing them on and off the field.

I think he will take the goodwill job, but not immediately. Too young to quit coaching IMO

YES! Totally agree...but it won't happen because it makes too much sense and Les is too hard-headed

I would love to have MR as our OC and QB coach. Heck I remember how good he was at FSU.

I love Mark Richt always enjoyed watching UGA.

I've only watched UGA when forced to by LSU game, but I have always respected him. Would be comfortable with him as OC here for sure.

I doubt Les would have the gumption to interfere with a QB coach/OC who has that kind of track record and has also been a HC in the SEC himself.

uh, Les already has interfered with our OC that's a former NFL HC and HC at Indiana. Oh, and is also his really good personal friend.

So I think Les has no problem interfering with any OC he has on staff.

Richt isn't taking an OC job. He'll be HC somewhere and can still do that and work with QBs.

say Cam DESERVES a chance to do the job he was hired to do! I don't understand the fire Cam train when we have no idea how good a OC he could be! I mean shouldn't we at least give him one year as OC before firing him?

Someone has to be Leslie's fall guy.

Not at LSU.

Other than opponents' dreams, two other things come here to die:

1 - Offensive coordinators
2 - Stellar QB recruits

I love that idea!!! I thought about that immediately heard he was fired.

LM would be would be a CLOWN if he doesn't even attempt to contact Richt.

More likely Richt goes to Alabama when some other delusional program gives Kiffen another shot at being a head coach...

As a Bama fan, I endorse your line of thinking.
