Indeed: Marcus Spears does an excellent job.

I bet he'd love for LSU to re-emerge with a vengeance, if for no other reason but to tweak that Finebaum Freak

Still waiting for him to find something to actually criticize Saban for.

Of course, the rest of the world is still looking for something to criticize Saban for.

He's a great ambassador for our program and school and he does a good job staying objective and impartial.

I think both he and Booger are very good in their roles for the SEC Network. Who would have guessed that a couple of great LSU D Linemen would become solid TV personalities? They both represent LSU well.

Add Ryan Clark to the list of former players killing their TV gigs right now. Doing very well in their 2nd careers.

That's right. Almost forgot about Clark. He may actually be the best of the three.

Booger is much better when it comes to breaking the game down. Spears is just there for entertainment

All 3 are exceptional in the commentator roles they are asked to play. In terms of polish, communication skills and analytical depth, Clark is the best with Booger right behind him. Booger bleeds P&G, but is a "Truth Seeker"...doesn't let his school loyalty bias his analysis. In terms of entertainment value, Marcus is just FUN...the kind of guy who would grab a beer with you in an airport bar on a late connection flight and just have fun shooting the crap for the fun of it. I'm proud of all 3. They represent LSU very well.

I was impressed with Booger during the whole Miles drama at the end of 2015. When everyone else was just slinging hot takes, he was telling others in the media the way Tiger fans felt, and the legitimate reasons that Miles was in trouble.

I never was a fan of Dari Nowkhah before he moved to the SEC Network, but he, Booger, and McElroy had the best, most balanced, and factually accurate media discussion of that Miles situation that I heard during that entire two weeks. It was either at halftime of the A&M game, or after the game, but before Alleva's PC. Those three aren't perfect, but they know the SEC inside and out.

Which unfortunately for some morons around here translates to "he puts down LSU every chance he gets." Some people just want an LSU mouthpiece and he'd be terrible at his job if that's all he was. See Lou Holtz.

I love all three of the LSU guys on ESPN. Spears is a really enjoyable guy to listen to and definitely makes it easier to understand football for those who don't really keep up with it. Booger is very analytical and very objective which I really do like. Ryan Clark is a guy that you just know that he is so intelligent. Very high IQ guy and he's fun to listen to. Glad to see all three of these guys enjoying life after football!
