Everyone thought Washington would be a really tough game last year. That turned out pretty well.

know many expect LSU to dominate both sides of the ball but honestly that is unrealistic.

No it's not. However kicking is a major concern for LSU because it's totally unknown what will happen.

Yeah it's just foolish to think LSU won't dominate.

Those same people thought Washington was going to be a good team. But they turned out 7-6.

And you think TCU is going to win the Big 12 and compete for a National Title right?

I remember that Keith Price was supposed to gash LSU, and UW was supposed to have an all-world secondary.

Nope, I think TCU has a chance at winning the Big 12 assuming the injury bug does not get us. Then if all the cards fall just right they may have a shot at the NC if they don't lose to LSU. Losing to LSU is likely though.

Nope, I would have never predicted a good season for TCU last year after the losses we suffered. If you want go search my posts after Pachall was removed from the team to see what I mean. I predicted a total season loss.

last year aint this year.

Well lets just see how it all plays out.

Even with an OOC loss to LSU, if TCU manages to end up 11-1, which by no means would be a cake walk, they could be looking pretty. They would need some other key losses across the country.

Specifically
OK or OSU being quality wins (either team having remaining ranked after losing)
Only one team in the SEC with less then 2 losses
A Pac 12 round robin cluster frick
Ohio stumbling
and Fl. State, Louisville, Clemson Chinese standoff all dropping a game.

that bolded one would be the most important and most unlikely

Dude, you seriously think TCU can go 11-1?

I mean seriously?

The game that worries me the most is OK after SMU.

SMU is by no means a powerhouse team but they always play TCU well and it is a rivalry game.

Couple things:
1. TCU won't go 11-1. I'm happy for you that you are excited about football season and have hope for your team, but this is about as delusional as LSU fans thinking that Les Miles owed them some type of explanation after the National Championship Game.

2. At 11-1, TCU will NOT, I repeat, will NOT be playing for a National Championship.

never said it was certain but it is certainly possible.

If they did go 11-1 and if the things I listed as required circumstances fell into place, why not?
