Bringing Mike back was never happening. You have to realize this compromise had to be made with the SJW contingent of the LSU students and faculty just to get a live tiger back on campus.
The last one wouldn't go in anyway, so we're not really losing anything. So they (the SJWs) feel like they gained something relative to advancing their agenda, when in actuality all they were promised was that the new tiger would not be asked to do what his predecessor refused to do anyway.

There is too much wasted space inside the stadium.
Build club rooms inside old dorms.
Sell alcohol.
