Make Orgeron Head Coach Immediately!

Hear me out before you bash me!
Give Coach "O" a contract through 2017 maybe even 2018. Based on one game, it is still an improvement. How bad can he be?
!. It will help recruiting. Who will commit not knowing who will be LSU's HC next year? We've already lost Moses. Do you think he might have stayed with LSU if he knew Coach "O" will be here next year?
2. It will stabilize the coaching staff! Remember we have a great staff, most of whom are excellent recruiters. A new HC will likely bring in his own assistants, creating even more uncertainty in 2017!
3. A new HC is always a major risk. Does he fit the Louisiana culture? Will the players assimilate to the coaching methods? Will he maintain the great "family" atmosphere which exists at LSU? Will any of the current LSU assistants want to work under a new regime? Are we going to become an "air raid" team with no defense like teams in the Big 12? Look at all the teams who brought in great coaches with little or no results.. Southern Cal, South Carolina, Oregon, Notre Dame, Florida, Texas, Texas A&M, etc.
3. If we think we can attract someone like Tom Herman or Jimbo Fisher, we are betting on the come! We will make zero progress during the season. They are still coaching their teams hopefully to post season accolades. We can't wait if we are going to sustain a great recruiting class!
I like Coach "O"! He loves LSU! The players seemed to have accepted the change enthusiastically. Give him a vote of confidence and don't put him in the same position as did Southern Cal in 2013. It isn't fair to him or anyone else including Tiger fans, the players, the assistant coaches.
And, by the way, have you seen this? USC players reaction to Orgeron leaving. I saw this today! It impressed me tremendously! Before, my greatest concern was whether or not the team would remain pumped by Orgeron's enthusiasm week after week after week? Or would it wear thin after awhile? This article answers that question! They loved him. Three of the players indicated it was like losing their father.
If you want to bash me, go ahead! If you agree, then let's get this going!

That BS refers to being HC through next year. If you don't read then don't comment. The BS is not using logic and assuming that we can have anyone we want at the end of the year and that he will be great at LSU! Orgeron is a "Bird in the hand". The Rant is always wanting the moon when we have a potentially great coach right here in Louisiana!

Who cares whether prospective coaches "love" LSU? Why do some LSU fans always think this matters?
Hell, if that's a criteria, let's see if Jerry Stovall wants to come back.
Let the season play out, collect more data on Orgeron and other coaches and then make a decision to hire the best available.

At the end of the season, it will be too late to save the recruiting class. For heaven sake, be willing to take a f*****g risk! If he fails this year, then we fire him. He will only have one year left on a 2017 contract. The buyout would be trivial compared to firing Miles. Orgeron is putting his whole soul into this team! Give him some support!

If we bring in a stud HC, recruits wil be lining up to play here. A new, good hire will help recruiting, not hurt it.
And you think a short term contract with a HC who went 3-21 in conference in his only head coaching gig us good for recruiting?!?!
