... put the lil meat elephant on it, and wiggle it until Mike gets curious and goes in the damn trailer! How hard could that be?

And all y'all who are gonna say "we're tired of "Mike won't go to the game threads" can kiss my arse- all we see is these worthless "tiger handlers" saying "Mike doesn't want to"; not one word of anybody saying that they at least tried SOMETHING to get him to go to the game...

He needs to be parked outside the visitor's locker-room, where God intended him to be.

It's bullshite, but I think we need to start accepting that this tradition is dead.

I dunno, a tiger handler could be useful when owning a tiger

When was the last time you handled a tiger?

It's already been stated ad nauseum that the vet will not do anything to coerce him to get into the trailer. They literally pull up the trailer and open it, and if he doesn't get in, he's not going.

I'm gonna go the safe route and blame Alleva for this.

I'm fairly certain Baton Rouge, LA is not where GOD intended any tiger to be.....otherwise they would be indigenous to the area right?

What Tiger would ever want to just go take a walk into a small cage when he has much more room to walk around. This is dumb.

Who cares how many times it has been stated. There is no reason why we can't coerce Mike into a cage 7 to 8 times a year. You mean to tell me that it was not done prior to this mascot. bullshite.

Speaking of non-native species, could we feed Mike some nutria?

Seems like it would be a win-win for all.

That sound you are hearing are all of the "tl;dr" crowd's mind exploding when they tried to figure out what that word means.

It's not a matter of getting him in the cage... they can do that. When he gets in there he freaks the frick out. They are afraid he's going to hurt himself.

Yes, this exactly is why it pisses me and a lot of other people off...

So, fer crissakes, then do SOMETHING to try and entice him..."Here, kitty kitty kitty..."

OK, so this is new information that I haven't seen before....where did you get this from; what is your source? (not trying to be a dick, just want to know- it seems "they" would've made this reason more public, rather than just saying "he doesn't want to", which is all I've seen on here or elsewhere...)
