FYI, if you are headed for Hoover, I20 is shut down 76 miles from Hoover. Moved 500 yds in the last hour. Mile marker 42

Not shut down.. just slow moving due to construction. Been that way for months. Real pain in the arse too. Guess they forgot to warn you about this.

Saw that on Google, but no mention of it on Alabama DOT website.

Edit: here you go. But the site isn't that much help.
Bama sucks

The motorcycle ride to DC is happening on I20. Got behind them yesterday from Jackson to Meridian. The interstate just north of Birmingham is shut down on I59 only North bound lanes last night.

Interstate 95 north from Richmond, VA to Boston dwarfs traffic problems in BR.

I-20E was shut down due to an accident. I had to divert to US 11 and the delay was 3 hours.

I got off I-20 at Eutaw and took AL14 to AL60 to AL69 to Tuscaloosa. My delay was only 30 minutes max.

They want to make it as inconvenient as possible for everyone to get there since the Gumps didn't qualify for the tourney.

Might be worth it for people to take 10 to Mobile and come up 65. It's only 50 miles longer but that would have saved you more than 2 hours.

I'm in Mobile and just got this message on the 5/24.

Man technology is slow in this state.
