i'll politely disagree and slowly back out of this thread.

easy when we have a mediocre coach at the wheel. He should be in the Mountain West, not the SEC.

Why would readers be concerned about JJ's come?

Anyone with a keyboard can do it...

If Miles don't win the West, he is gone. JMHFO

Luck is running out: LSU (9-4)
The Tigers caught the right breaks on the way to the 2007 national title, but they haven't been quite as fortunate in recent seasons. Some of that has been their own doing; for proof, just take a look at the disastrous final minutes of last season's 25-23 loss to Ole Miss. Still, LSU won five games decided by eight or fewer points last season. This season, there still is come concern about quarterback Jordan Jefferson, the running game lacks an established feature back, the offensive line remains in flux and there is no proven pass rusher. Hey, there's a reason Les Miles is feeling the heat.
Obviously hates Les Miles.

5-0 against the top 15? Our best defender hurt half the season? Our best receiver hurt half the season? Our starting QB out the SECCG? Who was better than LSU in 2007? Score was 38-17 for fricks sake

Agreed

We also lost all four games in the final minutes as well. Argument goes both ways.

Agree. People forget the '07 LSU team beat 5 of the FINAL top 15 teams. LSU needed some help and fell flat against two mediocre teams but this team had guts.
What has happened since is baffling.

I think LSU broke even last season..
How do they say we won a lot of close games but flat out ignore how we lost the games we did lose?
We lost 3 reg season games to Florida,Ole Miss and Alabama. None were blowouts even though one was the eventual NC. We had tough breaks in the BAMA and Ole Miss games. Im not going to even discuss the mud bowl.

In some cases, the close calls indicate a quality team that caught some bad breaks; can those teams poised to learn from their experiences and turn it around this fall?
In other cases, the close calls indicate a team that had a lot of luck. A drop-off in returning starters or a more challenging schedule could lead these teams to a precipitous fall.

This looks like locker room pinup material to me. Hell, show it to this 'damn strong' football team and let them prove this a-hole wrong.

Just the fact that LSU made the National Championship Game after going 10-2 and losing the last game of the regular season is pretty miraculous.

For the record it was 38-24. Both teams scored TDs at the end of the game. You get yours, we get ours.

FYI game was over when the score was 38-17 so both are valid answers.
