No. Faulk was a three-time first team All SEC running back, also making the team as a return man. He was a 1st team All American as an all-purpose back.

Faulk was incredible at punt and kick returns. He was so patient on every return and wait for the hole to open up.

Didn't Faulk have the all time SEC rushing yards record for awhile?

Charles Scott was on the coaches 1st team in 08

No, he finished 2nd behind Hershel Walker, but ahead of Bo Jackson. Darren McFadden pasted Faulk.

According to the LSU Media Guide, Charles Scott made the Coaches 1st Team in 2008, and LaBrandon Toefield made both Coaches and AP 1st Team in 2001.

You must have just started watching LSU football? No disrespect. He was one of the most awesome backs to watch at LSU.

Scott, thought it might be Hester but he got second team.

When Faulk finished his career at LSU, he was the 2nd leading rusher in SEC history (to Walker), and the all time leader in total yards. I believe he still holds the total yards mark. What a Tiger.

He does still hold the record for all purpose. Looks like his career in the NFL is coming to an end some he should get his number retired IMO

Though Scott is "newer" to SEC honors, Kevin Faulk was the most significant tiger of the 1990's, and is the finest back in LSU History.
Yes, when his NFL career is finished (he will have as many as 3 Superbowl rings and maybe 4 or more) his number at LSU should be retired.
He also might have been the most important recruit in modern LSU football history.

Ever hear of a Heisman winner named Cannon?

Yes, I have heard of Billy Cannon. So have you.
Faulk's place in LSU record books is unequaled. And, if LSU had been in a national championship or SEC championship mode, had the program not suffered for so long in Hallman's years, Faulk well might have won or competed for a Heisman.
