Bama comeback was great...after the rhymes DP, I unfortunately turned to my dad in the car and said, "well guess we don't have to worry about driving to Bama Sunday, so in a way that's one less thing to worry about"...(we continued listening though just in case lol, because we've seen it happen with LSU too many times in the past)

Then Bam...Ibarra single and the epic Moore AB....it was great and we were going nuts in the car

I put this game up there with some of the other great/memorable LSU comebacks (uc irvine game2, Kentucky 2008 Clark HR, Baylor Super, rice CWS)...obviously not as much on the line as some of those NCAA tourney games, but nonetheless it was just awesome IMO. I truly think this win could be a springboard to our 7th title

We are fortunate as LSU fans to have seen SOOO many great postseason dramatic comebacks over the years. It's actually pretty unbelievable the amount of HUGE comebacks wins we've had:

-Miami championship game
-Texas championship game 1
-Stanford championship game
-uc irvine super game2
-rice CWS Blake dean
-uc irvine regional at UClA
-Baylor super at Box
-@kentucky regular season 2008
-2008 SEC tourney USCe
-etc etc etc...the list goes on
-and now add Bama SEC tourney 2013

Listening to the radio broadcast of LSU winning two against a&m in the college station regional in the late 80's to go their 1st CWS is what hooked me on LSU baseball.

The win today over Arky was great, and LSU baseball in general has won a TON of huge games over the years,, but it's the dramatic LSU comebacks that I always remember most vividly and hold a spot in my heart

9th inning rallies are just awesome and so memorable

I'm not saying Hawthorne likes Bama more than LSU, but he does indeed like Bama.

I know we lost to Stony Brook last year 2/3 and that sucked but those two losses overshadowed a really great battle in the one we pulled out in extra innings. The timely solo home runs coming in the 9, 10, & 11 (I think) innings were pretty spectacular. I know it doesn't hold a candle to some of the others mentioned here but I had the game on a projector up at work for the guys and the rainout just seemed to add to the anticipation.

I've been following LSU baseball through all of the glory years, and if LSU had gone on to win that Super Regional, game 1 of the Stoney Brook series would have ranked maybe 3rd all time for a single game comeback right behind Warren Morris and UCI in the Alex Box send off.

I guess Stanford would have to be in there, and Rice in Omaha, and Long Beach St in 93...

Dang it, we are spoiled!

This is my favorite. Especially after all the hidden ball trick drama and it being the last games at the Box.

One I remember is the HR the first baseman from Center TX hit to tie Long Beach State game in the 7th inning in the super regional and LSU eventually won in 14 of the super regional. The 3 best rallies in order, however, were the walk off home run against Miami to win the College World Series, the rally against Long Beach State to win the College World Series, and the rally against Stanford to win the College World Series. The most improbable in my mind was the Long Beach State win because of the multiple hits required against a really good pitcher.
