LSU would have been better off this year with Jefferson

An example of JJs field vision:
Jennings has good field vision , but his run ability just isn't special. Add that to a sub 50% passing efficiency and you've got a guy that just isn't the answer to LSU's success.
Jefferson choked at times but he was undoubtedly better than #5heismans.
For the record; I still think we have on of the most qualified coaching staffs in the country but personnel absolutely needs to be adjusted at the QB spot.

I remember thinking at the time "aaaaaah JJ is going to reach his full potentiaaaaaaaaaaaaal"
Then he did nothing for the game, and I guess he totally had.

... I think we'd of been better off with Harris

shite, let's discuss what they would have done with Bert Jones while we're at it.

I'm comparing JJ vs AJ because they are close in time frame and they both were recruited for the same style of offense.
Bert Jones was a great passer, but that's apples to oranges.

Yea cause when the defense couldn't get us turnovers or points, JJ somehow willed us to wins right? Remember that one game where our defense held that team to field goals til like the 4th quarter and all we needed was a field goal to get back in the game and JJ somehow willed us to a win? Oh wait......

I'm questioning the coaching more so than the talent of the players.

Never thought I would ever say this but JJ was better than Jennings is and it's not really that close.

JJ had 17 TDs to 7 ints as a sophomore and a 61% completion %.
I would have taken Jefferson at any stage of any game where Jennings was under center. Anyone who feels otherwise is a fool.

You are an arse! If I were to fill in the blank for "LSU would have been better off this year with _____". There are two dozen names I would choose before Jefferson.
Obviously, you are a relative...

Should have never released him

Well, saying that Jamarcus is a better QB than Jennings isn't exactly post-worthy.
At a minimum, it's eye-brow raising how much better JJ was in his sophomore year.

Clearly his intention here was to express that despite JJ being one of our worst, he still would be better than Jennings.

Sure. I don't know if anyone would argue this.
I dream of what Nall would do in this offense

I always think about that play
