The game wasn't pretty by any stretch, but that come back win was pretty nice. Needless to say free throws and layups need to be practiced this week.

Whenever they play Arkansas, it is just a disaster of a game. From the jump, it looked like it wasn't their day. Moncrief & Hyder struggled mightly, which usually means the game is over, but all credit goes to them.

Is this team looking like a potential tournament team?

You are right- Womens's BB, but mostly Gymnastics, holding it together until Baseball/Softball.

Definitely. They were 11-2 in nonconference vs. a very tough schedule. Now 13- 3 and 2-1 in league. RPI was around 19 earlier this week. All they need is 9-7 in the league to get to 20-9 and that is very doable and would result in a pretty solid NCAA resume'

I would hope a 34 point and a 22 point game would lock down that award...

Almost as amazing is the fact that Moncrief had 16 steals in the last two games.

Because they have not beaten anybody worth anything yet. Next 4 games will tell you more abt this team as they play Mizzou, UK, SC and A&M!

One of the RPI rankings this morning has LSU at 17 with a strength of schedule at 25.

Best wins:

NC State (RPI 37)
Tulane (RPI 40)
Little Rock (RPI 51)
North Carolina (RPI 62)

Their only 3 losses are to RPI 1, 4, and 10 (UConn, Miss. St., and Kansas St.)

And yes, the next 4 are important. I don't see a win over SC coming, but I would like to see them win the other 3.
