I know there was a thread a few weeks ago about the venue. But at that time, I was not planning on going. Now that I am going, I want to know what to expect. Are we thinking 80/20 LSU to Wisconsin? I know Wisky travels well, but the numbers should be heavy in our favor. We've only played in Jerry World before, correct? Never in Reliant.

I know LSU is getting a 25,000 allotment, but many Tiger fans got tickets from Ticketmaster and the 2 game package as well. Most local fans buying tickets will probably be LSU fans as well. I could see it being 50k LSU 15-20k Wisky, 5k sponsors etc...

I'd say closer to 70/30 but yes it will feel like a home game. I can't wait

No. 65/35 at best.

Probably around 60/40.

There's going to be significantly more P&G. I'll tell you this though: It will be a fun game. As the offseason drags along, I'm getting more and more confident in this team. Wisconsin has a great chance to go undefeated after a loss to LSU so it will look good to the playoff committee.

This. Maybe 65/35, too. It will be similar to the Oregon game. Almost feels like a home page, but the Wisconsin fan base will make a trip out of it - they're excited to play a big time program down south.

I just booked a hotel, and I still need to buy tickets. Where should I buy tickets, and which sections are designated for LSU fans? Will ticket prices go up or down the closer we get to August?

The red will stand out, but the numbers will not be there. Houston is WAAAY more LSU than Dallas. There are a half million dyed-in-the-wool LSU fans living in Houston. There are 12 Wisconsin fans.

And don't forget that Houston sports hero JJ Watt is a Wisconsin alum - anyone neutral will likely wear red for JJ.

I bought the 2 game package. When I spoke to the guy from Reliant, I asked which side will be LSU's. To which he responded, "the entire Stadium is LSU's side. The next call I have for Wisconsin tickets will be the first".

All you cats LOL'ing...

I think LSU travels pretty well, but not as well as some of you might think. I think LSU has lost a good bit of it's traveling fanbase, and some of this could be attributed to a falloff in bandwagoners from the '03/'08 era.

Everyone said LSU would own ATL for the Clemson bowl game, and it ended up being a heck of a lot closer to 50/50 than the rant predicted.

I can promise you Wisky will fill up more than 20% of the stadium.

Bookmarked.

I'd be surprised if we get any more than 25% of the stadium. UW fans do travel well, but the tickets are steep and Houston isn't exactly a trip/city that people are clamoring to head to. I think we're probably just going to come in Thursday and back home Sunday. No idea what the heck we're gonna do on Friday.
