"A game time has not been set for Wisconsin's season-opener against LSU on Aug. 30 in Houston, but the game will kick off in prime time and be televised by an ESPN network."

So would this mean 8 Central on ESPN or 7 Central on ABC? What does the rant think?

shite, that means I have to burn 2 vacation days for this game. I was hoping to drive both ways in one day if it were an afternoon game. Oh well.

You can still get back and forth in one day. If kickoff is at 7 PM, the game should be over at 8:30. The over/under on total passes attempted by both teams is set at 6.5.

6:30 ESPN or 7:00 on ABC. Don't have to worry about Bama/WVU.

"The Crimson Tide's showdown with the Mountaineers in the Aug. 30 Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. (central), West Virginia announced Saturday. The game will air on ABC."

Looking at last years opening day schedule, UGA Clemson, the college game day game played on ABC at 7. ESPN started Bama VT late afternoon and LSU TCU at 8. So I guess the question is would we be the college gameday game?

But that's at 2:30, so it's a non factor.
