So just move on.

So many people picking this as their ideal matchup, but it just won't happen.

If Bama is in the title game, Sugar will pick ND as it's replacement team assuming they are not also in the BCSCG.

If Oregon is in the title game, they get second pick and will match up either Oregon State, Stanford, Oklahoma or LSU against Nebraska.

If LSU is not taken by the Rose, there is almost no chance the Fiesta will pass on them. LSU will play K State in the Fiesta.

If Oregon loses, and K State is in the BCSCG, K State would probably still take LSU and end up playing OU or Louisville.

The ONLY chance LSU plays ND in Sugar is if K State is in BCSCG against Bama and Fiesta decides to take Oklahoma. Only then could Sugar get both LSU and ND.

This is all assuming LSU wins out of course and that Florida loses to FSU.

If Florida ends up 11-1, they will almost certainly be the second SEC team in the BCS.

If Georgia beats Bama, obviously Georgia firs to Sugar and Bama gets an at large at whichever bowl has first replacement pick, either Rose or Fiesta, depending on which conference loses the #1 team.

Hopefully this will limit some of the possible bowl talk.

The Sugar Bowl wants LSU this year. They know it will be a sellout no matter who they play. They have had too many crappy, low selling matchups recently.

Notre Dame will sell out the Sugar.

I'd be very surprised if they passed on them.

And if they do take LSU, there is 0% percent chance that the Rose and Fiesta would both pass on ND.

LSU and ND will not play in the Sugar either way.

I really feel like people are just trolling me at this point.

There can not be that many people who don't know the selection rules of the BCS.

ONLY THE SEC CHAMPION IS BOUND TO THE SUGAR BOWL.

IF THE SEC CHAMP IS IN THE BCSCG, THE SUGAR CAN TAKE ANY TEAM THEY WANT.

Yes they generally take an SEC team, but if Notre Dame is available, they will take them.

I dont think too many Notre Dame fans want to come down to New Orleans and play LSU again...

I personally slandered a few of them last trip. Something about their "coach having bitch tits (Charlie Weis)", and Jamarcus slinging it all over their arse...

Dude had a huge rack. Also always seemed to have snot/boogers running down his face when it got cold at ND.

Yep

Only once in the last 6 seasons an SEC team did not play in the Sugar when an SEC team played in the BCSNC.

I not saying LSU is going to the Sugar. Just saying a SEC team has a strong % to play in the game.

I'll give you this, but they certainly don't *have* to take an SEC team.

"There is NO WAY 2 teams from the same conference will play for bcs title." Circa 12 months ago.

Sugar Bowl would be great, but actually I'd prefer a little strange (Fiesta vs. K-State sounds great.)
