in the Bacardi Bowl in 1907. The team played against Havana University in Havana, Cuba. I did not know this until last year.

I was about to post that and saw you beat me to it.

People complain about today's student section. It looks like the history of offensive cheers goes back over 100 years.

New Orleans to Cuba isn't that bad of a haul... Plus, we were on good terms with the Cubans at the time.

kappadelttau when you played football in those days first you had to choose what rules you will play by:

1. Rugby
2. Scocer
3. American Football

The Canada teams when playing American teams alway would choose 1 or 2. That is why teams like Michigan and Havard claiming these as football is wrong.

Was it still rugby in 1884 when Harvard played in Canada? Stassen's historical college records just says it was college football.

read a story about the cuban game. the cubans drank wine on the sidelines instead of water. one of the cubans was 300+ lbs and was drinking heavy. LSU players noticed and decided to hit him in the stomach from a good running start. said they had to call a timeout while the cuban was puking up the field
