Or a different QB choice. LSU wins tonight. Don't support Miles, but I do support the players.

LSU was also getting the stuffing beat out of them when that team took its foot off the gas, didn't care enough to score to put themselves up by even more, etc.

Don't kid yourself to think two garbage TDs that ended up making it close because of their fumble was some sort of indication of just how far apart the two teams were.

Did you watch that game. Mullen called off the dawgs, benched his starters and stopped trying to score.

A fair accurate thread title would be LSU 1 play away from beating the 3rd ranked teams backups.

Close only matters if we win.

If we lose and its close then it doesn't matter.

Good to know.

Miss State put their backups in the game was so out of hand. Thanks for the gift fumble, backup center.

This^^^^^^^^^. Wasn't even close in reality. No moral victories here.

YEah. here is how an LSU fan should react to games

Big Win- we'll lose to a better team- we suck

Close Win- it should have never been close- we suck

Close Loss- We lost Horseshoes and hand grenades- we suck

Big Loss- We just got killed- we suck, we can't compete with anyone because this team beat us.

I am not going to put words in your mouth, but the OPs point was that we may not be the worst team in the SEC because we lost to 2 great teams.

Moral victories don't mean much, but people have given us 6 more losses based on Moral.
