UNC is likely to open the season in Atlanta next year against an SEC opponent. LSU, Georgia, & Ole Miss are being considered.

Is this some new SEC vs ACC challenge kinda thing like they do in college basketball? I hope it is true.

Just the Chick-Fil-A kickoff game they started last season with Bama/Clemson.
Bama/Virginia Tech this year. UNC vs. an SEC opponent next year.
2012 game has already lined up Tennessee/NC State.

New Orleans need to do this. Texas/ Fl St etc. It can be funded by William Jefferson's freezer or Mayor Nagins city credit card.

They won't. Look for the Tulane game to be moved to BR or the series canceled altogether. Alleva all but said last week that we wouldn't be playing Tulane in NOLA anymore.

This would be great. I live in NC i could drive down to ATL and see the game. The only thing to make this better is for LSU to crush them.

One person said it had been discussed, but offered up no other reference. Mike was the first to bring it up on the Rant, so that constitutes "breaking" it...at least on Tigerdroppings.
