Boooo I wanted the night game. What kind of nonsense is this? They already set our time before we have an opponent?

For those that know way more about baseball than me, what is best approach for the World Series as far as pitching goes? Does your ace typically pitch first? Or do we go Poche on short rest? Would think winning the first is priority and being that your are playing other really good teams, I would think Lange gets the call first.

I was expecting the 7:00 game, but it doesn't really matter too much. Just win, baby!

I'll put this in here as well because I know people will ask: We'll be the home team in the first game since we're the higher seed.

Lange definitely goes Game 1. Then Poché Game 2. If we win both. Bain or Godfrey will pitch the game 3 to win (we'd have to lose twice) to get us to Monday and Tuesday championship series which we will go back to Lange and Poché on a full rest

We'll be playing all good teams, so we can't pitch off for the first game like we could in the regional. Lange and Poche should start the first two, since we really want to get to 2-0. That would leave us with only having to win one of two to get to the championship series.

If all goes as planned, we go Lange, Poche, Lange and bam we are in the finals. But if we drop a game it could get interesting from a pitching standpoint.

Sets up nicely if LSU wins game 1.

Not to get ahead of ourselves, but you could face Vanderbilt with Fulmer wasted or Illinois with Jay wasted. As long as we don't play those small ball runts from Fullerton.

He pitched Sunday. First game is Sunday. How would that be short rest?

Lange will be pitching on a 7 day rest and Poche will be pitching on an 8 day rest regardless of if we win or lose.
