LSU vs Arkansas Predictions

I don't expect a high scoring affair with Nola and Stanek on the mound (I assume Stanek is going to pitch). Last time around Stanek really shut down LSU's offense. Hopefully LSU can scratch a few runs early and we can ride Nola to a close win.
Taking my P&G glasses off for a second, I can see the score being 2-1, 3-2 either way. Hoping the Tigers can muster up enough offense to get it done.

Nola is a badass, but Stanek may actually be better. Runs will be tough to come by. If LSU wins, I predict at least one of the few runs we score will be unearned, and Arky will continue to FAP to their ERA.

Probably about the same...unearned runs don't affect your ERA. But I get what you're saying.

Is it so ridiculous to assume that some of the runs scored were unearned when they would have scored as well had it not been for an error?

Looking at overal fielding pct, Arkansas is bad in the field.
Since the LSU series this year, Arkansas made some changes and has since only made 17 errors. 63 errors were made through the LSU series from the start of the season, so they e gotten better with the changes. Around a 97.8 fld pct since LSU series I believe.

Yea things have definitely gotten A LOT better. We still make errors yes, but not like it was in the beginning. DVH finally found the right INF combo that works the best with field & hitting.
