Is it safe to assume that LSU-UF is heading for a 2:30 kickoff??
Only way it doesnt happen is if Arkansas or Ole Miss is much better than advertised.

11am games suck at EVERY stadium for tailgating.
Yea but they suck even more in College Station.

Cool.
I'll have a clearer view of Johnny Hangover tweeting on the sidelines .

ESPN gets one weekend where they get 1st pick over CBS, I believe.
I could be wrong but ESPN has some sort arrangement like that
They don't get 1st pick over CBS on any week. What they get is the chance to pick a few games before the season starts, as does CBS. CBS picks some number of games (not sure how many), then ESPN gets to pick some number (again, not sure how many) before the season, then it goes week to week when the season starts, with CBS always ahead of ESPN.

quote:what from last year out of both teams (ole miss, texas) would lead you to believe they'll be victims of a beatdown in Austin? I'd suspect the reverse. I'll also take even money on Ole Miss over Vandy right now.
Webels will be beaten down by UTexas, Gumps, maybe even Dores by Oct. 12th. Unfortunitely UF will be 2:30 contest!
Hey, see if CBS will just give us 1 extra stinking hour later like 3:30 for A & M!
Heck, Ole Miss was competitive with Bama last year for 3 quarters.

SVP needs to pull some strings so ESPN picks the aTm LSU game as their premier game and it can be played at night!

Later in the year, the only downfall to the day games is that it takes away from tailgating IMO.
This just means in the 4th quarter, when the games close, you get to hear over the loud speaker...
"Ladies and Gentlemen, the sun has found its home under the western horizon and it is now Saturday Night in Death Valley" ..... chiillllssss

66-31 UT in Oxford, 33-14- Gumps, lost last year to Vandy at home close one (Vandy favored 2.5 so close spread); other then that not a thing, hey, they could surprise everybody who knows, all i'm saying is don't hold your breath that OM-A&M is the feature game for CBS that week, will be Tigers-UF unless JA pulls a rabit out of his hat trick!

SEC schedule is weak that weekend
2:30 CBS
And if i had to venture a prediction Id say Auburn will be 2:30 CBS and Florida on ESPN 7:00

Texas should be a better team than last year.
They will run the ball down Ole Miss' throat.

Don't you realize that most of the other SEC teams have "traditions", which are far more important than LSU....and are protected by the SEC office at all times !

How would they know that four months ahead of time?
They don't. Pure speculation at this point. The College Station television network knows nothing more than any other human being who examines the schedule and attempts to forecast probable television selections.
