watching Ed laughing and smiling with your president, and listening to your AD introduce him, this doesn't come across as just a temporary promotion to interim head coach. interims aren't introduced like this.

seems like your administration has pretty much decided on Orgeron as your permanent new head coach, barring any collapse this season.

Thanks for giving us your thoughts. Don't get me wrong, they're way off base and retarded but still thanks for weighing in.

I disagree, Orgeron is ACTING like he was given the permanent job.

Should they all be crying together and talking about the good ole days with Les? They're moving on. I'm sure Coach O knows his role.

He was given the keys to this Ferrari. They said hire who you want and do what you can with what you got.

What other course of action should lsu take at this point? They have eight games remaining in the season, the team is still technically in contention for the conference title, players are watching closely to determine how much authority Orgeron has. Of course the AD is going to strongly endorse the new regime. It's all meaningless theater and I doubt it portends anything about the permanent hire.

Alleva is stubborn like Les. I'm sure he wants O to be the coach and doesn't really want to make an effort to look else where. O is cool tho he just better get an OC. Where Ya at Art Briles

The tone is explained simply - LSU is not giving up on the season. They are trying to save what's left of it.
