well thank god. we got lucky because this uber driver parked (knowing he wasn't supposed to be there) and whoever needed him didn't show up so we piled into his suburban. cost us $280 to go from the stadium to the Houstonian. but it was worth it because it was already like 2am and people were still in line waiting on cabs

Living in Houston now, the location of NRG makes you really appreciate the Superdome. Same thing with Dallas.

Not an upgrade, however this is better than playing any Louisiana schools from a recruiting and television exposure opportunity standpoint.

they just want to play in texas for recruiting.

Maybe they should play UL Monroe as we seem to lose a lot of that area's talent to other schools.

Rather play them at Rice Stadium to be honest. Smaller, but a great venue...sight lines are fantastic. Also TON more to do in that area of town for pre-post game.

Although the AC will be nice in mid September, I must admit.

I rather play the game at Rice Stadium. The stadium is old but it throwback to a time before you had the arms races in college football stadiums. It not about the stadium when you play there it's about the football game. The sight lines are great and some of the best in college football no lie.

Who else is tired of Houston games? How about more in ATL, Nashville, and Florida to open up the season.

Here's a novel thought, why not play these great opponents AT HOME?!

We play 7 home games. It's nice to have an excuse to get to visit these cities and see LSU play in these stadiums from time to time.

We play 3 shite non conference home games and no good non conf opponents because of this. You can go visit Dallas or Houston whenever you want. All neutral site games do is frick season ticket holders.
