As long as they don't play this off like some kind of "classic" and charge $125+ per ticket...in that case count me OUT...we've got enough of these type games at home...thanks but no thanks !

such a double edged sword playing in these neutral site games. yes you get the brand out there but you also take away from fans with 1 less home game.

It will be and they probably will and the game will probably still sell out so no point in complaining about it.

We watch as other SEC teams schedule powerhouses and we schedule Rice.

we have BYU and Syracuse in 2017, Miami in 2018, at Texas in 2019, Texas in 2020, at UCLA in 2021, UCLA in 2024, and future H&Hs with Arizona State and Oklahoma

honestly, this could be a thursday/friday night game if it's the opening weekend, because it's such a shitty matchup. they've gotta be able to have a better matchup on saturday in a kickoff classic type of game.

Isnt Rice in the same conference as La Tech? Since when does LSU AT schools that size? Alleva?

they just want to play in texas for recruiting.

but we're hosting texas in BR that year already. just invite every texas kid you are recruiting to that game and let them watch us kill the longhorns in person.
