Overall, great series win and hopefully this marks a turnaround for the season.

But... the situational hitting sucks. This game, they had bases loaded and 0 outs and not a damn run scored. That's bad hitting discipline/coaching. You have 1 job as the next batter, just put the ball in play. I've seen this time and time again this year.

Also, Slaughter acts like a fricking child. It seems he has become complacent and he needs to be benched. Can't hit worth a shite and always embarrasses himself when he strikes out.

Put Woley at 1st. Keep Coomes and Romero in and let the lineup come together Slaughter has become almost an auto out and needs to sit at least for awhile

Maybe you could apply and bring that positive motivation (calling freshman names) to the team.

I called him a child, because he acts like one. 10 and 11 year olds throw temper tantrums when they strike out. Slaughter needs to grow up and change his approach and he wouldn't look so silly ever at bat. It's actually embarrassing when a kid does that.

Do you mean just like Arkansas did 3 times this weekend?

Agreed. Except Reid, not Woley.

Slaughter needs to be benched for his attitude. He goes to the plate with poor discipline then wants to cry and hit shite when he strikes out.

No, I got your point. Just chose to ignore it because I'm not talking about Arkansas situational hitting.

Except we probably lose this game if not for Slaughter's defense at first.

Reid is well capable. And I think you can contribute Kramer making plays this game, not Slaughter.

You cans stick your head in the sand and ignore the point all you can but it happens to all baseball teams.

Just because it happened to LSU once today you look silly making a blanket statement that it proves LSU doesn't pay attention to situational hitting.

Last night's ninth inning showed the players knew exactly what the situation was and by putting pressure on the Arkansas defense, the Pigs imploded.
