Hey guys. I got my tickets and they are in section 302 row 61. Are these going to be really far up? Under an overhang? Or generally what should I expect. Also my parents are in section 208 row 11, are they up far enough to see. Also Apps Students are in 303, 304, and 305 rows 1-15. Those seats prolly stink right??? Some help would be appreciated.

Also I need some tips on where to park with a good tailgate atmosphere (not a deck).

The 208 lower seats are not that good. Unless all of the action is at that end of the field.
As far as parking goes, if you don't get to the stadium early that morning, there are some apartment complexes that rent out there parking for the games. I think there 20 bucks for the day.

They are near mine. You are at the top of the old stadium, under the Tiger suites. Between the 15 and 40 yard line.
I love my seats, with a great view of the whole field, but not so far away as to need binoculars.
You may even be under the roof overhang of the suites. That helps if it rains.

Have fun!

section 302 row 61

These are great seats on the 30 yard line and you'll have the upper deck covering you when the summer afternoon rain pours down on everyone else.

my parents are in section 208 row 11,

These are great seats as you'll be extremely close to all the action on that side of the field. You can watch the big screen when the action goes to the other end. The only problem is that this is very close to the student section, so they'll hear every chant there is.

Rows 11 through 15 are pretty good seats, but the only thing you can see in rows 1-10 are the players asses.

Thanks for the info. I'm driving down and looking forward to a great football atmosphere and win or lose I will come away satisfied. Thats what I expected when I went to Michigan last year and got a little more. I was the most concerned about how far up the row 61's would be and weather the would be under the over hang. Just as long as they arn't to far under the over hang to where I cant see the scoreboard.

Even in the last row of the lower bowl, you can see everything. There are a couple layers of suites between you and the upper deck that sticks out, so you'll be fine. Tiger stadium is very steep, so you're close to the field, but it makes it very loud with the close confines.

all great seats....you are in for a treat......

be careful where you park...as if you park in the wrong area, you will be routed far away from your hotel when it is time to leave....

Appy, you won't have any problem finding tailgaters and if you can put up with a few "Tigerbait" chants, they will feed you and give you a beer. Get there early morning and take a stroll by Mike's cage and be there about 2 hours before kickoff when the band comes down the hill. I could tell you all day, but you need to see it. Bring your video camera and have a great time!

They moved the visiting team's student section? They're ususally in 401-403 area.

And I'm pretty sure the band marched down The Hill 3 hours before the game, but things might be different with a 4 pm kickoff - I'll check with some people in the band today to see if they know what this week's schedule is.

All in all, App, you'll have a great time...there is no place on earth like gameday at Tiger Stadium!

Park over by the Ag Center (by the lake) - and begin your walk through TD Village - you'll enjoy that! Also, if you can have a TAF member bring you in the PMAC for a preview of the Tiger Band halftime show...it is airconditioned and they have TV's setup. Give me your email and I can give you some details

You will need some industrial strength sunblock on Saturday. I'm about 25 rows down, and will be thinking of you once the shadows reach my seats. At about midway the 4th quarter. *&#%(!&!! ESPN!!!
