A buddy and I are trying to remember the name of the editor or author of articles written in the reveille during lsu's run in 2000 that was always bashing on the team and students following the team. The infamous "idoit" article was part of his repertoire.

I don't think that's it. The name of his article was a play on words with his name.

He wouldn't have been in school then. He's quite a bit older than that.

I was actually thinking it started with an S but Santori doesn't ring a bell.

Tommy Santora

"Bet the farm on #2 Auburn tonight."

LSU 83
AU 68

Chris Porter fouled out with like 12 minutes left and shook every LSU player's and coach's hand on his way to the bench. It took like 2 whole minutes while we chanted "LEFT! RIGHT! LEFT! RIGHT!" etc...

Chuck Corder wasn't an anti-LSU Hoops guy. At all.

Josh Peter was a horrible writer for the Times Pic that ran with a ton of negative stuff towards LSU Hoops at the time but he wasn't the student newspaper guy.

But again, Chuck Corder was not an anti-LSU Hoops guy for the Reveille*

*I am not Chuck Corder

This was amazing.

I also really appreciated the "COACH'S DAUGHTER clap clap clapclapclap" chant directed towards Saul Smith (son of Tubby) of Kentucky.

Chris Porter and the rest of the Auburn team all had a sense of humor with us in the student section. They were fun to pick on, and even Cliff Ellis was jovial in his postgame interviews, which at the time were right in front of us.

"Saul looks like Prince on crack!" in a silent PMAC during warmups made me shite my pants. A friend of mine had a "Confucius say: Kentucky You Sucky" sign, which was hilarious.

frick Kentucky. They acted like insufferable pricks. "frick y'all" right when they came out, and LSU whipped their asses. Good. frick them and their fat chick fan base.

You should be able to email the Reveille and have them look through the archive.
