"I'm still part of this team; I'm still a leader," Mettenberger said to a small group of media. "I'm still going out there trying to be positive with everybody and keep everybody grinding. One of my biggest roles in this game is help Anthony transition to a starting role.
"He showed when he came in to the Arkansas game he's a pocket passing guy. He works well within the pocket. If he needs to take off and run he will. He's not a typical dual threat guy. He's always looking to pass first. He does have great accuracy and great anticipation. He's a bright kid."
