I am really surprise with how bad our pitching is under Alan Dunn. I never thought it would be this bad under him.

We have had meat serving middle relievers since he has been here. Why is anyone shocked?

I think its also a reflection of recruiting and or scouting. We have some guys that came in as big time names but they haven't seemed to pan out. Seems like we get a Gauseman or Lange every 2-3 years which is great but the remaining guys don't seem to pan out. Poche has been solid but he's probably more of a Sunday SEC starter if we really want to complete for Omaha.

I do like the development of our young bats. Next year we lose Lange and Poche. Are there any big time pitcher recruits coming or who forecasts to take there spot next year?

I agree with you on recruiting. I just don't understand how Florida and Ole Miss can have better arms then us. We won 6 National Championships we should have better arms then them.

Ole Miss doesn't have better pitchers than us, just better against us.

Why do we only let guys pitch one inning of relief at a time? We don't seem to give a guy time to develop in the game. Even if they throw a scoreless inning its on to the next guy.
