Should have replaced Miles end of 2015 and paid the price....
Should have replaced Jones end of last season and will pay the price...

F King and Joe really bad for LSU athletics moving forward....

Exactly. It's like the athletic department is rudderless.... changes are needed at the top...

If LSU can't compete for 5 star lineman against Bama under O.... we will continue to lose to them. Hope O and staff have what it takes...

Basketball is a cluster...

Decisions are slow...

Yep, and 99% of people who care about LSU can do nothing about their incompetence. We are watching a very slow train wreck that none of us can avoid. Very frustrating.

Why watch when you could save yourself the misery by jumping off a bridge today? No need to drag out the agony, right?

Should have never hired him in the first place. If he didn't go to school here and coach with Dale, he wouldn't have been considered at all. Sounds a bit familiar . . .

At least we saved the alumni game! Also, CTII has whatever access he wanted. Good work, athletic department!

Root for Tulane, go pray to Allah Saban. Never watch LSU again, you can jump on the Bandwagon later, when we're back on top

This. I've seen it a a former employer. Completely REACTIVE instead of proactive. That said, can't really blame Alleva for Miles still being head coach at the start of the year.

Yes, you can. It is Alleva's job to get all of the alignment he needs to get things done in his role. That includes obtaining buy in from his boss(es) and those with extreme influence outside of the his direct reporting structure. It is no different than any business develop type role in the corporate world.

Like hell you can't!

If it wasn't leaked to the public weeks before the end of the season then Miles doesnt have time to gather his considerable political clout to save his job.

Alleva's job is to fire under performing coaches. I don't want excuses for why you can't do your job. I don't want to hear them at my work nor in the LSU program. Just DO YOUR frickING JOB.
