This is a big letdown.

Was looking forward to an all day tailgate. And one of those games where all the cameras flash when the team's hit the field at night.

Sad.

I mean I get it but.....

LSU should be better than Bama next year right? LSU has everyone back.

And Wisconsin just beat USC.

They have the names though, but our matchup is in Lambeau. Ugh.

I was hoping Lambeau was enough to get us in primetime. Still can't wait for Sept 3rd though

I always pictured this game as the staggered primetime game to Bama-USC. It will still be an event, but it takes on a different dynamic now.

This. I have been there twice for NFL games and it is a better daytime atmosphere. Night games are an LSU tradition, so why not experience another part of the country's tradition and enjoy it?

There's no tradition, it's just TV. Half of the games at Lambeau last season were at night.

Who knows, with these two fanbases coming together, and the way they get after it, a 2:30 start might be the safest way to go (for during the game at least).

Depends on the outcome. If lsu wins they will party and tailgate late into the night. If lsu losses you will see them leaving rather quickly. Lsu travels well. They will have quite a few motor homes there and the Cajun cooking will fill the air. Wisky people will go crazy over the things lsu fans cook. All wisky fans should hit the tiger tailgaters . A very good experience.

I plan on making the rounds and taking in the atmosphere for sure. As I mentioned earlier, it could be a long game for us, so I'm going to soak it all in while there's "still a chance". If UW does win, I would be surprised to see the LSU fans take off immediately after, as I assume they have hotels and flights booked to accommodate a late day on saturday (given that the game time wasn't known until recently).

Not everyone will leave. They just would not want to stay around and watch wisky fans celebrate. Lol. Some will stay just to doak up as much of the experience of that magical place that most all will never go to again. I know I would.

Lsu hopefully brings some good food. Looking forward to it. Bucky fans just grill out whatever they got...venison or brats usually.
Wisconsin has the drinkers though. 12 of the top 20 drunkest cities are in Wisconsin. Unreal.

Welcome to America's Dairy land.
