LSU offense needs a spark

You can see it on the faces of the wide outs. They much prefer having Lee in there. He throws a more "catchable " ball, and puts it in a position for the wide outs to make a play after the catch. He is also more than capable of handing the ball off to RB.
Jeffersons whining about plays shows his character. He seems to be looking for excuses and passing the blame. Many of the wide outs "drops" were passes thrown high or low in awkward positions. Instead of complaining, he should be saying my bad, i'll throw it better next time. He doesn't seem to want to be held accountable for his play on the field.
Now on the other hand, I don't think I ever saw Lee "hide" like that even through some bad performances as a freshman rushed into playing awfully quickly. As the field general out there, I ask you, which would you rather see from the leader on offense?

Miles must have some personal problem with Lee that we don't know about. Something else is going on tat we are not seeing.

LSU offense needs CPR.
A spark won't do. Turn on the defibrillator and stand back.

This offense needs alot more than a spark.

Lee threw the ball twice, both on the money. It seems like Miles is trying his damnedest to not allow the kid to throw the ball.

How would you know if he did? All he does is talk in riddles, and shitty ones at that. No, I think Miles is seriously at the edge of his own capabilities and can't figure out who to turn to now. Crowton has run his table of imagination and no one else on the sideline can figure out, or, sway LM in making a change.

Blackmail pics? It's mind boggling.

106 Louisiana-Lafayette
107 South Florida
108 Wake Forest
109 Ohio
110 Oregon State
111 LSU
Ball State
113 Air Force
115 Illinois
116 Vanderbilt
117 Navy
118 UCLA
119 Georgia Tech
120 Army
So, we are officially behind UL in a major statistical category. To be in the same area in passing yards as georgia tech and Air Force is disgusting. As far as it goes with teams that actually throw the ball, we may be up there with Vanderbilt as dead last.
And as far as the little temper tantrums JJ throws, everyone (including your own players) are tired of it. Hannigrif and Jordy were talking about accountability last night, JJ needs to look in the mirror next time he almost gets a reciever killed because he doesnt know how to go throw progressions

not a chance in hell of that happening this season...seems like someone (head coach) is too stubborn and too confused for that to happen.

If we still had Zach Lee he'd be starting by now. Garrett is another one I wish we still had.

wrong chief...he threw it once...it was a CHECK DOWN when he still had not even let his primary receivers make their first cut

I had my hopes up that Lee would start the 2nd half.
That was such a tease, having him take off his radio gear and then they put in JJ anyway! the crowd was disappointed, as I was.
jj looked even worse in the 2nd half.

This offense needs to be soaked with gasoline and hit with a flame thrower. A spark would fizzle.

Lee will not play significant minutes. LSU should be running the football twice as much as they throw and they run the ball better with Jefferson in the game. The read-option is much more effective when you have to respect the quarterback. I don't understand how people can still think we need to "open it up more". That can only get LSU beat. This defense is sick, the special teams are sick. Run the football, don't turn it over, don't have stupid penalties and LSU can beat anyone on their schedule.

incorrect, the first was a swing pass (though called back by penalty). Did you go to the game? I suspect not. But, even though it was a swing pass, I want to see JJ complete one of those, he is O-For the last 2 weeks. The second was a completion over the middle. Nothing else was there. At least he didnt stand there and look at himself on the jumbo tron until he got avalanched

Problem is...this is all we can hope for. We will see.
