Why would anyone wear these? If you are on the team then great, that makes sense but otherwise no one should be wearing these....

People have to wear shoes to run/work out. Some people might prefer those colors. It's not anymore outrageous than other colors nike uses.

FYI: I purchased a pair. I'll be wearing them in the gym. Honestly, it's no different than wearing an LSU shirt or hat.

I wouldn't wear them but don't see any difference in buying LSU shoes and an LSU jacket. It's just fan gear.

I just think they're ugly, don't really care about someone being on the team or not wearing them. not much different than any other fan apparel

This... I purchased the ones last year (they looked much better than these IMO) and only wore them to games... Now, frick it, I wear them all the time. They are comfortable and like you said, no different than any other fan gear.
