Are they really a last place team? That was obvious last year, and everyone knew after Victor was gone the season was a waste, but isn't the talent on this year's team a little better?

I think Johnny liked it so that if he finished 11th it would be considered overachieving. Unfortunately he finished where he was picked.

The SEC is likely going to be a VERY good league this season. You could see anywhere from 6-8 teams make the NCAAT and the teams just missing the tournament will still be solid.
I don't think LSU will finish last, but there is really no one who you could definitely put them in front of in the preseason rankings.

We're definitely going to be better than last in the SEC.
We will be more disciplined, in far better shape, exponentially better coached, and have a wee bit more talent.
I can't wait to revisit this ranking at the end of the year. I think we're a goddamn bubble team. We're going to press so much and draw so many fouls that we'll steal a few games we shouldn't.
