It's amazing to me that everyone wants to ignore 30 games of a sample size to promote O, but will take down other coaches for one singular game, such as Mike gundy who many didn't want here because he lost to ISU in 2011. It's so fricking contradictory.

Link?

Your definition of "everyone" is different than mine.

I could buy into your "if he sucks well just fire him" theory, except we gave him the exact same buyout that we gave fricking Miles and he had absolutely NO LEVERAGE.

I agree that the buyout was a TERRIBLE deal by our AD. That is why I believe that if Ed shits the bed, the Joe has gotta go.

If we produce at all in those games Miles isn't even close to being canned. That is the truth.

and if we win those games by 1 point with 200 yards of offense, he isnt fired.

once your win loss starts getting affected by the anemic offense you can claim it was because of his offense but if he won 11 games with that offense, no way is he fired.

are you actually suggesting that the opinions of fans outweigh way wins and losses by a head coach?

its like you dont remember that we lost both early games in 2015 by a very small margin and thats when he was fired. had we won both the wisky and auburn game, miles doesnt get fired.

surely you dont believe Miles wouldve been fired if we had won the wisky and auburn game, right?

They've been in a BCS/NY6 bowl more recently than we have

and then went 4-4 and then went 3-5.

Yes, the last three years they were 6-2, 4-4 and 3-5, while LSU was 4-4, 5-3 and 5-3. Three year totals 13-11 for them and 14-10 for us, hence my statement "about the same record as we have over the past three years".

its amazing the mental gymnastcis needed to say they arent a bottom dweller

We'll know soon enough. There are only 9 or 10 more weeks left in the regular season, and all it'll take is a look at the standings. If they finish in the bottom three of the SEC West this year, then yes, they are a bottom dweller. If they finish in the top three of the SEC West, then they aren't. So, let's set their O/U placement in the final SEC West standings at 4th place and you take the over (meaning they finish 5th or worse and you win) and I'll take the under (meaning they finish 3rd or better and I win). If they finish 4th, it's a push. Deal?

so youre saying Miles wasnt the problem?
youre stance has been that the reason lsu has been so bad was miles but now youre claiming its the program itself?

miss state has finished 2nd to last every year but once since 2013.

Welcome to the world of everyone who ever talked to the Miles pumpers prior to the year 2016. It's irrational. Isn't it!

youre kidding right?

maybe miles having one of the most accomplished tenures in sec history bought him more loyalty than unexplainable loyalty for O.

you even acknowledged that resume and past accomplishments matter when Madking was saying we werent holding aranda at fault.

I've read a lot if your list this week and I've been surprised about how objective and on point you've been about everything. For what it's worth i was wrong about you.

Is this a trick? Hahaha. Just joking. Thanks. I assume you meant that you've read a lot of my posts this week. Actually, it's not a big deal. I've thrown shite at you, you've thrown shite at me. No harm, no foul. Bottom line, we're all LSU Tiger fans and we all want what's best for the athletic programs.

Hang in there Madking.

We weren't playing any of their 2010 through 2016 teams last weekend. We were playing their 2017 team, so that team's finish is the only one that matters with regard to whether we lost to a bottom dweller. Do you think THIS YEAR'S Mississippi State team is a bottom dweller?

Where in the hell did you get that from? Yes, Miles was the problem. He fell asleep at the wheel on recruiting and refused to adapt to the changes in the game offensively, which caused our program to slip from elite to mediocre over his last 4+ seasons.
