Not trying to be a homer, but how could LSU end up as a 4 seed when the Tigers were #2 in almost every poll for the greater part of May and winning the SEC Tournament over the #1 team for most of May?

It seems that every other year or so the NCAA selection committee underrates LSU.

I don't think some of you realize being #4 is better than being #3 this year in that we wont see vandy until the finals in Omaha.
If we were #3 we would meet up in the semis (if all played out right)

When UNC got the number 1, my guess is LSU got #4 to stay out of Vandy's bracket until the championship o of the CWS.

I don't understand either. LSU has done more for college baseball then any other team.

Looks like a good draw, though...What do you think? I could think of worse routes to Omaha, or draws....

#4 means a Vandy/LSU national championship is possible, right? The SEC is happy.

I'm not complaining. this has the potential to be a great draw. Then again, after last year, I'm not taking anything for granted.
