You know how you look forward to a home cooked meal all day when you're going home to your parents house?

You know how when you smell your momma's home cooking, and it only makes you hungrier?

Well this LSU team has been working all summer and looking forward to playing some football.. and they not only got to smell it.. they even got a taste last night.. only to have it taken away.

They're going to be absolutely famished when they get to Starkville in a week. Mississippi State doesn't even know that they'll be clanging dinner bells when the Tigers come to feast. It's not going to be pretty. It's not going to be close. It'll be over by halftime.. and the rest will just be dessert.

I hope so. But I really would have liked a tune up before SEC play.

Good to meet you at the BT last night, bay.

I would rather think this way all week than entertain negative attitudes over something that could not have been helped. It is what it is.

I actually liked BH's tweet. He trusts God is in control and has a better plan.

I sincerely believe that the coaching staff agonized over their decision and made the best one they could in a bad situation.

Geaux Tigers!

LSU is going to make a lot of mistakes in Starkville and all you pumpers that never played a down will understand how important that first game really is.

Nooooo LSU is going to be behind, untested and at a complete disadvantage.

I will as well. Hopefully we'll actually have a game to watch this week.

It's not impossible to play well in your first game boys. See Oregon game in 2011

Look at it like this, what if we had opened the season with Wisconsin or Oregon or some other top team he wouldn't have had a warm up game then so just look at like this , if Harris is gonna be the QB at LSU he has to be ready every week
