Exactly how is this possible when we are #3 and just got beat by #2?

Record does not matter in rankings. Overall team score and their Regional Qualifying Score (RQS) determines their ranking.

it's a mixture of your best home and away scores.

eta: in other words, it's actually possible to not have a single win and be ranked #1

I know, I just don't see how we can get a better RQS then Florida when they have a higher team avg and just beat us (therefore increasing their team avg compared to ours). Then again, I don't know the RQS formula and always assumed it was team avg. since it was always so similar.

DD is a beast. Tireless worker and a fierce competitor. It's a little amusing that when the AD finally gave her an ounce of attention she's having her best year yet. I totally understand the money isn't in gymnastics, but that doesn't means she's not a top 3 player in her field.

Was not aware of this, great job ladies, as for DD good for her but she still has not won sec in 35 years and rarely have beaten any of top 3 in sec, but as said most of season, they could win it all this season and that would make up for a lot of losing for sure. Looking forward to Friday meet...I'd be more than happy if we win sec, a nc would just be icing.

Take the top 3 away scores, then the next 3 highest (home or away)...drop the highest...average the remaining 5...RQS...

Ours is 197.4...Geaux Tigers!!!
